Time flies. For the last 20 years, we’ve been supporting our customers to deliver complex water projects that create capacity and resilience in a changing climate. This includes for Anglian Water, where we’re proud to have played our part as a member of the @one Alliance since 2005. It’s set new standards for collaborative ways of working. That delivers results. Capital carbon emissions – greenhouse gas emissions created during the construction or refurbishment of buildings and infrastructure – have been reduced by 64% against a 2010 baseline. Check out HS2’s latest video update on the Copthall Green Tunnel project. Copthall Green Tunnel and the network of embankments and bridges in the London Borough of Hillingdon, connects HS2's London tunnels to the Colne Valley Viaduct. This 880m long tunnel is one of five green tunnels on the HS2 route and is designed to blend seamlessly into the landscape with a layer of trees, plants, and shrubs on top. Skanska, as part of the Skanska Costain STRABAG joint venture, is delivering the full detailed design and construction of this mega project - Phase One of the UK's new high-speed railway in the southern section of the overall High Speed Two (HS2) project.
